J. Lewis Muir > Software > Exphi

Note: Exphi is supported, but it will not receive new features. It has been replaced by Exposync (which can sync with axes other than just Phi).

Exphi (Exposure and Phi Synchronizer) is software providing exposure and exposure shutter synchronization with a Phi rotation axis. It was developed for protein crystallography, but may be useful in other applications. Both the digital I/O points and the rotation axis are assumed to be controlled by a Delta Tau Turbo PMAC controller (e.g. Delta Tau Turbo PMAC Clipper).

Part of this software is implemented as a PLC program that runs on the PMAC controller. The other part is an EPICS database allowing control from EPICS.
